PHX will be a Top 10 pick, Steve. Sekera's minutes will go down this year too.sgupca wroteCOLONFail

Re: TOR/LAK
Fuck, Sekera's value just went for a shit with Regehr and Ehrhoff in town now. IMO anyway.. yuck
Re: TOR/LAK
Good players are good players regardless of who they are competing with. Although IMO that pick is a little high for Sekera, he'll still be a nice asset to have.

Re: TOR/LAK
This comment makes no sense when talking about a guy like Sekera. With Ehrhoff coming in and Gragnani getting better, his PP time gets lowered. With Regehr, his PK time gets lowered. Good players' stats get worse when Better players are in the mix.Nick wroteCOLONGood players are good players regardless of who they are competing with.

Re: TOR/LAK
I'm saying if he plays well, like he did for the last 1/2 of last year, he'll continue to get his toi (which is earned and lost IMO, not theorized as some treat it). I believe he has played well enough to continue getting his time, and that he's good enough to keep it.

Re: TOR/LAK
Imo they aren't going to pay a guy almost 3mil and decrease his playing time.
And this was cheap compared to what kareem wanted!

Re: TOR/LAK
As a coach you have X amount of PP and PK minutes to allot. Sekera can definitely fill Y% of those X minutes. But that % will be lowered because Regehr and Ehrhoff can give you more quality minutes. Keeping earned minutes becomes much harder when the opportunity cost for the coach involves better minutes.Nick wroteCOLONI'm saying if he plays well, like he did for the last 1/2 of last year, he'll continue to get his toi (which is earned and lost IMO, not theorized as some treat it).
