Great week overall, we took 2/3 from: Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Chicago. Hopefully we can continue that trend next week (NYI, PHI, BUF), with the emphasis on beating Buffalo on Saturday, that game is a MUST WIN.

Wilson also needs to stop benching Bozak; or rather... we should fire Wilson so someone else can really unleash these kids.

Very achievable, since we are 10-3 4 in the last 17, its getting interesting but im not going to get to excited as we all know we are great at falling a point short of the dance, or sitting on our asses and watching the devils lose in SO to the Islanders to boot us out of the playoffs. If we make the playoffs, i don't care if the leafs get spanked, just want to see some Leaf Play off hockey

Of course Buffalo would win in overtime.. of course the rangers would rout the flyers who we have to face again this week making that task more difficult too.

Seems like the leafs can't catch any breaks with the teams around them.

I realize this weekend was frustrating, no one was more distraught with the outcomes than I, just ask Nick...But once you separate yourself from the anger and disappointment of the teams winning around us, you begin to realize that it doesn't really matter. It was always going to take 90/91 points to make the post season, a few wins and losses here and there do not change that. The ultimate factor at play here is the Leafs, they need to win their games, not depend on others to lay down and die for them.

Reims battled hard today, but looks like hes getting tired. Good game by him and the posts, really kept us in it. Leafs didn't come out with a good effort tonight, and only started skating in the third period, we were lucky to get the one point.

I really don't think was as bad as some of you are making it seem.

We got a point we didn't deserve.
Managed to be in a game despite a bad game, this is something teams that make the playoffs do.
Leafs closed to within 4 points on buffalo, and we face them twice... that's control of our own destiny we just got back.

no we didn't look good, no we didn't close 2 points... that woulda have been ideal... but perhaps this is enough of a wake up that we come out and look good versus buffalo, the outcome in that game is much more important.

Not going to make or not make the playoffs in 1 or 2 games...
