lol yea I got to know him a bit more since I decided to stick around. He is now bearable lol I don't take his comments as seriously as I used to. He apologizes privately when he crosses the line, so its all good.

He wrote me several essays actually with perfect grammar (mustve taken hours) kinda trying to vent to me about how he's so genuinely discouraged that he can't fit in no matter how hard he tries within league circles. I took to his concern somewhat lovingly. yea something got f'd with Vanek. I don't know what. Potential is still there for him to turn around; especially playing with a great MIN team, but it is less likely IMO. I am comparing to the time of the SJS-NYR deal and this one now.

Have to also consider I had Vanek on the block for some time and Shaw was the best offer. I mean, if Vanek keeps regressing, what will his value be six months from now? probably a lot less than Shaw.
