The defending champs will be losing some role players and Simon Depres, let's be serious though -> another year of development for Hubs & Beaulieu is a solid counter. I was hoping to see Owen Sound vs Saint John final, their speed and size would have been a better opponent for the skill that the Sea Dogs have, IMO with Hishon and Wilson they would have been there. Opportunity missed IMO.

Next year I expect the Petes and Hounds to be better in the OHL; the west is a little harder to call, however despite losing both RoJo & Nino the Winterhawks look to be straight up loaded.

The SeaDogs will be stacked next year too. Even if they lose Huberdeau to the NHL, they will more than likely have Philips, Galiev, Jurco, Beaulieu, Oke, Bourret and Tesink returning.

Like you mentioned, the Winterhawks look stacked for next year as well. I thought they would make it to the Mem cup this year instead of Kootenay.

Sea Dogs were monsters this year. Only hockey i get to listen too while driving. I find the local color guy annoying, but the hockey is amazing. Quite a stacked team coming from the Q.

LOL right -> and the Petes were actually a very physical team, unexpectedly out musceling the tough kids from out west -> Downie & Kaleta likely had a TON to do with that, however I recall Jordan Staal knocking Lucic backwards off he feet during a board battle, and the commentators talked about it non-stop.

Just looked up the #, Brule really was full beast mode -> Cody Franson was the dman who I couldn't remember from the Giants...pretty sick teams really... CHL stardom seems to translate more consistently then any other development program. But as such the busts are bigger as well, as Kareem already pointed out.

lol, i got to enjoy the Mooseheads who have been total garbage the past few seasons.

However, when the Sea Dogs come to town they are quite impressive to watch.

It doesn't surprise me at all. Saint Johns was a great team and they had everything working from offensive to Denfence to goaltender. Like the team played as a team. I told everyone they would win wich I was right.

Everyone was lucky that Kootney got hot and beat toon & port, at least IMO.

SjSd were dominant - but if anyone had been able to truly test their character things maybe have been different (healthy Wilson & hishon most notably).
