I am debating it. It's not something I've tried to hide.
What window does it leave open? It clearly states that if you can prove that they are an active NHL goalie, you can dress them in a single goalie situation.
Khudobin was an active NHL goalie. Darling was an active NHL goalie.
What differentiates them in that one can be dressed over another?
Let's take a larger look. Cam is better to Khudo as Bobrovsky is better to Darling. One can argue that the most recent Vezina winner is better than a guy with 10 career game under his belt.

You had a motive to intentionally worsen your lineup. Mik did not.

Motive is irrelevant. I was in a position where I had easily met GP. If you want to change anything, change the minimum amount of GP needed.
There should be no reason why I cannot dress a compliant line up. Both were active NHL goaltenders at the time.

Well that is what you should be bringing forth to be voted/discussed on. If intentionally worsening your lineup should be permitted as long as GP is reached. A rule was put forth to discourage this. But this is the CBA discussion thread, and its the place to bring in such proposals.
Personally I don't see it catching steam, but by all means make a motion and get others opinions on the matter. But by keep of deflecting back to this goaltender restrictions talk is besides the real point in this subcategory.
And Goaltender starts maximums and minimums is another important point we need to discuss as well.

Stop wasting your time with Lee. He'll run this place right into the ground if you let him.

TO be honest Nick, I'm having a more productive discussion with Fraser right now that I've ever had with anyone in the CC, outside of Mik.
You could take lessons from him, if you didn't already step down.

Please do add it, along with my suggestion. I'm more than willing to discuss the best way to move forward. I do not think the current course is the best method.

Could you re-type what you want added. Either in here or PM. I'll quote and add to the OP.

I really don't feel like typing that all up again.
Short form:
We should be able to dress a compliant roster, regardless of any perceived motive.
If you can prove than an NHL goalie is active, you should be able to dress him in a single goalie situation.
If a change is to be made, I propose it be made to the minimum amount of GP required.

Added. At this point I think we should continue to compile points of controversy. This is some good progress. After we compile all points, I figure we start talking through them one at a time.

Next topic: when do people believe the official cutoff date for signing waiver draft eligible (europeans and college) players should be, an when after the waiver draft should the leftovers be available to be signed? What date should the waiver draft take place?

I understand what those dates signify, but is there an advantage to those dates, or could there be a better advantage to feb 1st, for example?
