That's very sad news. Saw a bit about him on Reddit. Apparently it was a rare form of heart cancer diagnosed in May.

Just 20 so he was a 2018 draft. Middle of the road in terms of draft rankings and I can't say I'm well versed in the Czech2 (Liga). I see he played a lot for the Czech national team through the years. Played a game for Liberec of the Extraliga in the Champions HL this season...teammates with ex-NHLers Ladislav Smid and Justin Peters.

It was mentioned he's a friend of Filip Zadina and he was trying to raise money for him.
