Steve's goalie injury really opens up the west imo.

kyuss wroteCOLONcurrently sidelined for me are Gaborik, Klingberg, Eaves, Tlusty and... well, there was obviously Bobrovsky I had to trade because of it.

Hoping to hear anything clear about Klingberg one way or the other before lock, I can replace all the injured players.. what always scares me are injuries happening early in the week, where you can't do anything about no matter how deep your team is.
apparently Eller needs to be added to the list.

And with no news on Klingberg I decided to play it safe and leave both guys out.

Given the schedule and the type of opponent (which is also missing a couple of centers) I also decided to scratch Panarin and Haula, to use 7D and a more peripheries oriented lineup:

Dylan Larkin -- Evgeni Malkin -- Mattias Janmark
Mats Zuccarello -- Evgeny Kuznetsov -- Patric Hornqvist
Joe Colborne -- William Karlsson -- Andre Burakovsky
Joakim Nordstrom -- Johan Larsson

Roman Josi -- Erik Karlsson
Oliver Ekman-Larsson -- Sami Vatanen
Mattias Ekholm -- Jonas Brodin
Josh Manson

Steve Mason
Curtis McElhinney

I liked what I saw of Janmark, Manson and Larsson in recent games, so they get the call.

What I don't like of this matchup is my goalies' schedule.. Philly faces Tampa twice and plays in Florida in b2b.
Darling probably won't see any games as CHI only plays 2 games this week, so I went with McE as backup.

Shiv has Bishop but no face2face with Mason tonight as Vasilevsky is playing instead.

Btw, Palat scored on the first shot of the night against Mason, lol & sigh

Of course OEL would go down in the first game of a 4 games playoff week

It's too bad Hong isn't around to watch his team.

He's been winning with 19 active players.

he just kind of dropped off the map.

hasn't made any changes in fantrax since November 8th

made 2 comments in here on Dec 30th

I guess we'll be replacing him this year.

With his team, he can go on auto-pilot and still dominate. Has he really had to make any changes recently? I wouldn't kick anyone out without talking to them about what their involvement level is. It's not fun being thrown out of this league without being talked to first...I speak from experience. He's built a great team and just because he's not always here doesn't mean he's not doing his part to run his club. He's not as social as he used to be but I'd rather he speak for himself to why that is rather than us making a judgment of our own.

But he's not doing his part by not being here. He doesn't contribute to the league. Doesn't contribute to conversations.

He might as well join a yahoo league if that is the level of his participation. This should be a social league, not a league that you pop into once a month to set your line ups.

If this league is going to last a very long time, then the people making the decisions need to straddle a very fine line when considering removing long time members like Hong. Keeping guys around who have been here for 6 years can be underrated imo

nobody said we would just arbitrarily remove him.

he will be given every opportunity to be active, just like any other GM, but there should be some explanation from the inactive GM as to why he's been inactive.

it isn't really fair to the active GMs who, for example, may want to make a trade for a player(s) on the inactive team, and are submitting weekly lineups, etc.
