Not the player we need. At all. But you can't teach the skill he has. We'd have to trade Lupul and probably Kadri for more well rounded players. Can't have 6 skill players or we become the new Oilers with only skill forwards and horrendous defence.

i didn't say my source was good

also, after taking the time to examin each NHL team i've deicded the the isles front office is the best at signing and re-signing their own players. (excluding that shitty goalie)

worst team: the leafs at resigning their own players to a reasonable contract.

Snow should absolutely be fired for that move. Not just the vanek cycle - but for trading Moulson.

hearing from a very close source that there are a few leaf players that they are "unteachable" and unless there is a major overhaul of the roster we should expect the same results next year. Even if we have a different coach.

Interesting news out of a florida news paper today:

By Michael Traikos
A big splash by the Panthers could be coming. They say they have money to spend on players and a coach this offseason. Reports indicate that the Panthers may be able to land Maple Leafs Joffrey Lupul for Kulikov.

Always a fan of Kulikov, but Lupul one of the few leafs I wouldn't want us to move.
